The below committees are our key groups for driving forward strategy at the WPA. All four feed into the Executive committee which makes strategic decisions for the Association’s direction and relay their findings to the WPA Board.
The Board itself is served by smaller committees that aid in the running of the association, these are the Governance, Administration and Audit and Oversight committees.
POLICY AND OPERATIONS
“As an organisation we are at the forefront of setting the agenda for the built environment in Westminster and Central London by getting around the table of all relevant government bodies”
Chair: Craig McWilliam (WPA Vice Chairman/Grosvenor)
TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE
“The transport and infrastructure improvements London needs to remain competitive will only be realised with innovative funding and greater collaboration with the private sector. We are leading the case for both.”
Chair: Brian Bickell (Shaftesbury)
“WPA is committed to maintaining and supporting a balanced community in the city. Providing housing, both for slae and for the workforce that drives the local economy, is an important contributor to our long term prosperity”
Chair: Rosemarie Jones (Church Commissioners)
EVENTS AND MEMBERSHIP
“We are looking at the best ways possible to further involve members in the work of WPA, building on the already strong engagement and attendance evident from our successful events”
Chair: Paul Smith (Colliers International)
