London Property Alliance (CPA & WPA) recently met with Douglas Oakervee (Chair of the Government’s HS2 Review Committee) to express our support for this vital transport infrastructure project. We believe that as well as providing additional capacity across the country’s rail network, HS2 would create regeneration opportunities and land use changes along the route (for additional homes, workspaces and infrastructure) and stimulate private sector investment and jobs growth for the whole of the UK.
Working closely with Sheffield Property Alliance we’ve urged the independent review into the high speed rail project to back the scheme in its entirety, which led to the Alliance featuring on the front page of the Yorkshire Post earlier this week.
