Over 200 members of CPA and WPA joined us for the London Property Alliance Autumn Reception this week, in the historic surroundings of the House of Lords.
The annual reception was hosted by Rt. Hon. Mark Field MP, Foreign Office Minister and Member of Parliament for the Cities of London and Westminster.
The keynote speakers were:
- David Ainsworth, CPA President and Chief Executive of CORE
- Cllr Nickie Aiken, Leader of Westminster City Council
- James Cooksey, WPA Chair & Director of Central London at The Crown Estate
- Rt. Hon Mark Field MP
- Alastair Moss, Deputy Chairman of the City of London Corporation Planning and Transportation Committee
Cllr Nickie Aiken talked about the major changes that will be introduced in Westminster’s new City Plan. She said that new planning policies would support affordable housing delivery, commercial development and the futureproofing of retail. A copy of her speech is available here.
