The West End has seen a raft of initiatives led by Westminster City Council to help support the area’s economic recovery, including recently announced plans for two new piazza’s at Oxford circus as part of wider £150m ambitions to transform the Oxford Street District. With the extension of popular al fresco measures over the summer and the imminent opening of the Marble Arch Mound, the West End is fighting back as the nation emerges from Covid restrictions.
This webinar, hosted by WPA in partnership with New West End Company, explores how these measures and compare London’s experience with New York, arguably its most comparable city on the world stage. Like the capital, it too has been hit particularly hard by Covid and we will learn how they are both adapting to new ways of work and leisure.
