Over 1,200 members, guests and partners joined us at the WPA Annual Lunch 2023.
WPA Chair, Marcus Geddes (Managing Director, Workplace, Landsec) opened proceedings by announcing a new landmark partnership between WPA and its charity partner, Young Westminster Foundation, which will see WPA, along with a number of member companies, commit a combined £255,000 to help fund its Mastering My Future employability scheme over the next three years.
Keynote speaker, Alastair Campbell, spoke of the importance of getting more young people involved in politics and the built environment before signing copies of his latest book ‘But what can I do?’, raising £2,000 for Young Westminster Foundation.
The lunch ended with a vote of thanks from Helen Mann, Chief Executive, Young Westminster Foundation, who thanked WPA members for their support of the charity’s Mastering My Future programme.
