On Thursday 8 March over 100 WPA members attended the launch of our NextGen programme.
This initiative aims to support the next generation of property industry leaders by helping younger professionals expand their business networks and broaden their industry knowledge.
The first WPA NextGen event was a networking drinks reception at The Crown Estate’s headquarters at 1 St James’s Market. The event included a speaker panel comprising of senior figures working in West End real estate, who discussed their career history and provided advice on succeeding in the sector.
The speakers were:
- James Cooksey, Chair of WPA and Director of Central London at The Crown Estate
- Tony Horrell, Chief Executive Officer (UK & Ireland) of Colliers International
- Rosemarie Jones, Chair of WPA Housing Committee and Deputy Chief Surveyor at Church Commissioners
- Nathalie Hakim, Senior Investment Manager at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland (Panel Chair)
