On 15 October, London Property Alliance (CPA and WPA) launched a new piece of thought leadership research with Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor of London for Planning, Regeneration & Skills.
The research, titled London’s Knowledge Clusters, explores the growing role of life sciences and associated ‘knowledge’ industries in the London economy. It looks at the business eco-systems based around the capital’s world-class universities, hospitals and research facilities and identifies the key opportunities for London’s real estate industry.
The report was sponsored by British Land, Cushman & Wakefield and Derwent London. It can be downloaded here.
Over 120 guests attended Monday’s launch event, including WPA and CPA members, representatives from London’s life science industries and Central London boroughs.
The evening reception included speeches from:
- Juliette Morgan, Head of Campus at British Land
- Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor of London for Planning, Regeneration and Skills
- Jack Sallabank, Founder of Future Places Studio and author of the research
- Paul Williams, Director at Derwent London / WPA Board member
The event was hosted by British Land at 20 Triton Street, which is located at Regents Place in the heart of Camden’s Knowledge Quarter.
