This seminar, hosted in partnership with NWEC, will discuss the GLA’s ambitious plans to transform Oxford Street into a traffic-free pedestrianised boulevard through a new Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC), and secure Oxford Street’s position as a world-leading retail, leisure and hospitality destination.
Attendees will hear from the Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, Howard Dawber, on the role of Oxford Street in driving growth. This will be followed by an update from the GLA team leading the Oxford Street public realm project, as well as a panel discussion featuring the key policymakers, businesses and property owners shaping the future of the West End.
