The current Articles of Association may be found here, and a hard copy is available upon request. The WPA is a not for profit private company limited at Companies House.

Your WPA membership year

Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December each year and is automatically renewed unless we receive notice of cancellation as detailed below.

Subscription fees

Subscription fees are subject to review and details of the same on our website are updated accordingly.

As your membership is corporate, your invoice is based on the number of employees in your organisation rather than the number that you have registered on our database. We recognise support and admin staff, in addition to any individual with an email linked to the organisation in question, as an employee and therefore include them when assigning a size-based membership tier. Consultants and advisors without an organisational email are not classed as employees and will not be included in the staff size or eligible to be registered under the organisation’s corporate membership.

Payment of subscription fees is due annually in advance and in any event by no later than 30 days after the date we issue you with an invoice in respect of the same. Membership is billed by calendar year. For organisations joining midway through the year please note this will be calculated on a pro rata quarterly basis.

April-June –  charged 75% of the annual membership fee

July-September – charged 50% of the annual membership fee

New members are not accepted after 30 September. However, applications for 2025 can be submitted, and if accepted the final quarter of 2024 (25% of the annual fee) can be added in order for membership to start immediately, otherwise membership will commence from 1 January 2025.

To allow us to plan our resources all subscription fees are non-refundable in the event of termination of membership.

Membership is corporate, and does not cease when a lead member leaves a member company.

Unpaid subscription fees

Membership subscriptions form the majority of our income. Unpaid subscription fees therefore impact directly on our ability to plan and provide services for members. Consequently we reserve the right to take necessary steps to recover unpaid subscription fees, including legal action where necessary.

Termination of membership

You may terminate your membership by giving us notice in writing by no later than three months prior to the start of the next membership year. The date of cancellation is taken from the date of receipt, and proof of receipt is required. Please note we only bill membership quarterly so it will be taken to the nearest quarter. Membership fees are not refunded in any part for resignations during the Membership year.

We may terminate your membership in accordance with the provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of our Articles of Association.
