175 WPA members and stakeholders came to our AGM Drinks Reception at Portman Estate’s newly retrofitted One Great Cumberland Place on Wednesday 19 April. This multi-purpose development features Grade A office space across eight floors offering high quality workspaces and views across Marble Arch and Hyde Park.
Marcus Geddes (Managing Director, Workplace, Landsec) was elected as the new WPA Chair and in his inaugural speech (read here) set out the priorities for the WPA as well as his plans for championing an environmental, cultural and economically thriving Westminster.
Guests also heard from Cllr Adam Hug, (Leader of Westminster City Council) who gave an update on the new administration’s first year at the helm, including the importance of collaboration with WPA and its partnership on the Sustainable City Charter.
The evening was closed by newly-elected WPA NextGen Chair Emma Lally (Momentum Transport Consultancy).
