“2023 has been another successful year for the WPA NextGen and it has been fantastic for the committee to be able to continue its ambitious programme of activity, championing the voices of the next generation of professionals in the sector. The hard work of the group has been evident in the number and quality of its events, allowing more people than ever to access the NextGen network.
“My highlight of the year was the Regenerating Tottenham Court Road seminar. A NextGen organised event at which 150 attendees visited the fantastic @SohoPlace theatre, the West End’s first newly built theatre in 50 years. Our exceptional speakers included Stella Abani MBE, Director of Economy and Sills at Westminster City Council and Paul Williams, CEO of Derwent London.
“Alongside this it has been a pleasure to collaborate with the CPA NextGen, releasing the fifth installment of our Diversifying Real Estate guidebook series on social mobility. We look forward to continuing this collaboration into 2024 and to continue providing opportunities for young industry professionals across Westminster to develop and grow their careers.”
