Westminster Property Association has responded to Westminster City Council’s Regulation 18 Statement which sets out the scope of the upcoming Partial Review to the adopted City Plan 2019-2040.
The Association supports the City Council’s ambitions to strengthen affordable housing policies, and also to ensure that development in Westminster contributes to tackling the climate emergency. The retention and retrofit of existing buildings should form an important part of this policy, but other approaches to inefficient buildings that require high energy may be required in some cases.
