WPA has submitted our response to the first phase of consultation on the new Westminster City Plan, following an intense period of engagement and research with the City Council.
The Association supports the ambition of the draft Plan to ensure that Westminster is one of the best places to live, work and visit, not just in London or the UK, but globally. However, we have expressed concern over some proposed policy changes which we fear would undermine growth in the West End, and consequently funding for housing delivery in Westminster – one of the City Council’s key political objectives.
We will continue to engage with policymakers on these issues on behalf of the WPA membership.
